The Delegación de Obras informs that from September the works of Repair and Remodelling of the Parque del Rosario will be carried out. The company awarded the works has been PERFORACIONES EXPOA S.L. for the amount of 319.579,16€ (VAT included) and the completion period is three months.
The Parque del Rosario is located in the town centre of Benahavís, bounded by Avenida de Andalucía to the east, Calle Las Margaritas to the west and the former Municipal Nursery to the north. The deterioration of these areas has been caused by subsidence of the soft soils on which the buildings are built, so the slope will be stabilised at the height of the buildings by means of a micropile screen. Subsequently, the area will be landscaped again with new species and access paths and interior walkways. The location of the Park, at the entrance to the traditional town centre and in one of the highest areas, has great visibility, so this improvement will allow not only those who walk through it to enjoy it, but also those who stroll along the adjacent streets.
