Desde Diputación de Málaga se ha desplazado hoy una monitora para realizar las inscripciones en los Talleres de Ocio y Tiempo Libre para mayores. Una iniciativa dirigida a las personas mayores de 65 años de los municipios de menos de 20.000 habitantes de la provincia. Las personas inscritas realizarán actividades como pintura, manualidades o senderismo, además de ejercicios de memoria y estimulación cognitiva.
Estos talleres se celebran en el marco del proyecto transversal ‘Plan contra la Soledad de los Mayores’ con el objetivo de mejorar las condiciones físicas y mentales de las personas de más de 65 años y reforzar sus interacciones sociales, lo que ayuda a paliar las situaciones de soledad que muchos de ellos sufren.
Si estás empadronado y tienes más de 65 años puedes inscribirte en los propios talleres, que tendrán lugar los martes de 11:00h a 13:00h en el Centro Social. La primera clase es el martes, 26 de septiembre.

LEISURE AND FREE TIME WORKSHOPS
Today, a monitor from the Diputación de Málaga visited to carry out registrations for the Leisure and Free Time Workshops for seniors. This initiative is aimed at individuals aged 65 and over from municipalities with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants in the province. Registered participants will engage in activities such as painting, crafts, and hiking, as well as memory exercises and cognitive stimulation.
These workshops are part of the cross-cutting project 'Plan against Senior Loneliness' with the goal of improving the physical and mental well-being of individuals over 65 and strengthening their social interactions, which helps alleviate the loneliness that many of them experience.
If you are registered and are over 65 years old, you can enrol in the workshops, which will take place on Tuesdays from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Social Center. The first class is scheduled for Tuesday, September 26th.
