Nuestro Alcalde y el Concejal de Deportes han recibido a Keanu Merten, vecino de Benahavís, para felicitarle por su reciente victoria en el campeonato de España.

A sus 18 años la carrera deportiva de Keanu es impresionante; campeón de España de Strapless Freestyle, subcampeón del Mundo SUB 19, modalidad Strapless Freestyle y tercero en el Campeonato del Mundo de Kitesurfing Strapless. Ha sido dos veces subcampeón de España y dos veces campeón de España absoluto.

Ademas, ha sido también dos veces campeón de España junior y campeón del Mundo junior, entre otros.

🏆KEANU MERTEN, CHAMPION OF BIG AIR SPAIN 2023

Our Mayor and the Sports Councillor welcomed Keanu Merten, a resident of #Benahavís, to congratulate him on his recent victory in the Spanish championship.

At 18 years old, Keanu's sports career is impressive; he's the Spanish Strapless Freestyle champion, runner-up in the Under-19 World Championship for Strapless Freestyle, and third in the Strapless Kitesurfing World Championship. He's been the Spanish runner-up twice and the Spanish champion twice in the absolute category.

Furthermore, he has also been the Spanish junior champion twice and the junior World champion, among other titles.
